I didn’t grow up with generational wealth. I didn’t have a roadmap or someone teaching me how money worked. In my early twenties, I was raising a family and working hard — juggling real life while making financial decisions with very little clarity. Money felt heavy and overwhelming, not because I wasn’t capable, but because no one had ever explained it.
When I eventually earned more in corporate America, I sought financial guidance. Instead, I was dismissed — told I didn’t have enough money, that I should come back later, or that I should talk to a husband or father.
Those experiences made something very clear: the financial industry wasn’t built for people like me — or for many of the people I cared about.
A family friend encouraged me to enter the industry. At first, I resisted. But once I understood how many people were excluded from true financial education — especially women, first-generation wealth builders, and marginalized communities — I realized my voice was needed.
I entered the financial industry to challenge outdated norms, remove gatekeeping, and create a firm that gives people the education, strategy, and support the system never offered them.
Today, I combine technical planning with the behavioral and mindset support required for real change. Wealth isn’t just numbers — it’s emotions, decisions, habits, identity, and possibility. And I bring all of that into my work.
